The visitor check-in desk is at the Security/Reception entrance in the southern front building. The map below shows the nearby public parking area at 2880 Torrey Pines Scenic Drive.

Where to meet
Check in at the Security/Reception entrance in the southern front building. Tours begin promptly, so arrive with enough time to park and walk to campus.
02 · Parking
Nearby parking options
Public tour parking is not available on the Salk campus. Paid parking is available across the street at the Sanford Consortium for $4.50 per hour. Limited parking may also be available along Torrey Pines Scenic Drive and at the unpaved Gliderport lot.
03 · Public transportation
Transit and ride-share
Ride-share services and taxis are recommended. Local bus service and the UC San Diego Blue Line trolley also serve the area.
04 · What to bring
Prepare for an outdoor route
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sunscreen, a hat, and layered clothing. Leave strollers, luggage, and bulky items at home or in your vehicle because storage is not available.
